Designed to complete the experience of using a Coffee Dripper to prepare coffee.

With the Coffee Dripper, you will have more control over coffee filtering. Its “V” shape and vertical grooves allow slower filtering and the coffee beans to expand easily.

The jug was specially designed to place the Coffee Dripper with the capacity to prepare up to 4 cups of coffee.

How to use: Place the filter inside the Coffee Dripper. Place the coffee dripper on the jug. Dampen the filter with hot water. Empty the water from the jug. Grind the coffee and place it in the filter. Pour in enough hot water to moisten the coffee beans. Let it rest for 30 seconds. Slowly pour the rest of the water into the filter. Serve your coffee and enjoy.

*Note: Paper, metal and cloth filters can be used. We highly recommend using reusable blanket filters.

Please note: Every item is handmade, so each cup will have some natural variations in size and color. 

About the Artisans

Atacama Home has partnered with a studio founded by a mother and daughter team that seeks to honor traditional craftsmanship and combine it with modern techniques to create simple, durable and functional pieces that are beautiful and unique.

The lead designer, Anna, studied glazing techniques in Japan before founding her ceramic studio in her native Mexico City -the beautiful mixture of Mexican craft and Japanese color sensitivity is palpable in each of her pieces.

Every piece is handmade by expert artisans in their workshop in Mexico City following fair trade practices and making sure to have the least impact on the environment as possible

Materials

Our stoneware ceramics are lead and cadmium free. Besides the color personality of our glazes, our ceramics were designed to withstand and endure everyday use activities.

Care Instructions

All of our stoneware products are microwave and dishwasher safe. Avoid extreme differences in temperature, allow a gradual change. Use a non-abrasive cloth or sponge and warm, soapy water to clean. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
