About the Artisans

An antiques dealer, boutique owner, and interior designer, Los Angeles–based Rose Tarlow has been defining Californian style for decades.

With a new flagship store in Beverly Hills for her furniture, lighting, and fabrics brand, Rose Tarlow Melrose House, Tarlow has solidified her industry status as a true decorator’s decorator. With a love of organic materials—especially all things wood—and soulful, rustic pieces in solid, neutral colors, Tarlow has created homes for the likes of Oprah Winfrey and David Geffen.

She is also a strong proponent of partnership, working with renowned Belgian landscape architects Peter and Jacques Wirtz on her own restful retreat in Provence.
