Dishwasher (gentle cycle recommended) and oven safe up to 400 degrees F. Some marks in the matte glaze are natural and expected -this will not affect the use or durability of the piece over time. Some qualities of cutlery may mark the surface -generally, these "scuff marks" are not permanent and can be removed using products like Bar Keepers Friend.

About the Potter:

Rui's family has been in the pottery business for over 200 years, and we're proud to continue that tradition with him on all of our terracotta ware. Just about every piece we sell is thrown by Rui on the potter's wheel (he started in the family business when he was 8), and is then painted by his aunt Regina.
